The Sun and Venus (Part 1)

Venus hated the Sun. Venus was little, but had great ambitions and she was sure she could do such a better job than the Sun did. Only if the opportunity could present itself… Ah, the desires of our own hearts! How can it consume us from the inside out.

Just as the fire was consuming the Sun himself. He was in great pain and knew that soon it will be over. Of all his children he knew Venus would be able to take the lead when he will be just a cold rock, but he did not think that she was ready yet. Of course, Venus had the spark, but what’s a small handful of light for the entire kingdom? So he decided to be tough and unforgiving in order to make Venus the strong leader he needed her to be.

Venus was a born queen. She was made for greatness and admiration. The appetite for power was something she always knew, even as an innocent ball of gas. The others saw it too and they did not appreciate this a bit. Even less when their father could not stop talking about this brilliant daughter of his.

This daughter that will divide everyone once she takes his place. The Sun realized now that he was a bad father to all of his children. He was impartial and loved unequally his sons and daughters and not one of them loved him anymore. He gave them jealousy, envy, endless desire for power and not one small bit of joy or peace.
